Driver Meeting
Last night On The Town Limousines held their quarterly driver’s training meeting. We were fortunate that we were able to schedule this meeting prior to the upcoming busy months ahead. It is a rare (albeit welcome) event that we get an evening with a large enough window between runs that we are able to assemble all of our staff together. This was a wonderful occasion for our new drivers to meet and chat with our more seasoned professionals to swap stories, and to get invaluable tips.
Following a recent accident, which I should hasten to add was not caused by our chauffeur, we decided that the main part of our training would be devoted to how to handle accidents, and all the steps and procedures that should be followed. We know all our chauffeurs are trained professionals, but it is always useful to have a set of guidelines to fall back on in moments of stress. The safety of our clients is always of the utmost importance to us.
Here’s to hoping that all our chauffeurs never have to put their new found knowledge into action, but we have every confidence in their skills that they will be able to handle any situation that may present itself . We have a bunch of great guys and we could not be prouder of them.
As usual Laurienzos Brick Oven Cafe, on Main Street in Mount Airy, provided us with the Phoenix Room for our meeting which is the perfect setting for corporate use and private parties, as well as serving us with their wonderful food. Thank you Laurienzos!
